HOW TO LAYER SKINCARE PRODUCTS

After you have chosen the products you want in your Bespoke Skincare Routine, it’s important to understand how to layer them onto the face, in the morning or evening.

The rule is to apply your products from the thinnest texture to the thickest. Our general recommendation is that any thin products like serums or liquid treatments, go first. This    way they can be fully absorbed by the skin before any heavier creams are applied.

"Thinner products can’t penetrate through the barrier of thicker products. If you use this way of application, you will get the most out of each product and its ingredients. If not applied in the correct way, you could essentially be cancelling out the benefits of the previous product you’ve applied.

 

STEP 1: Apply in the order  

Cleanse, Toner or Direct Acid, Eye Serum, Face Serum, Eye Cream, Face Moisturizer and Sunscreen. 

STEP 2: Layering multiple serums

Water based serum - oil-based serums then emulsion – based serums. 

STEP 3: Lightest to Heaviest

Apply any serums of the same base in order lightest to heaviest in the texture. 

STEP 4: Face Cream + Spf 

Frist apply Face Moisturizer and then sunscreen
