Choosing the right products for your skin can be often a difficult task in the skincare world. But once you got your basic routine in order there are a thousand simple tips and rituals that will take your skincare routine to the next level. Whether is it using tech tools or advanced ingredients in the products these simple steps to your daily routine can make a significant difference to your skin. Here are five skincare additions that instantly elevate your skincare routine.

TIP#1: SERUM

Serums have been circulating in the beauty and dermatology industry world for many  years now. They are the next step in your skincare routine and should be used after cleansing and before moisturising. A facial serum is a concentrated, clear, gel-like solution applied to the skin which consists of small molecules. This means they are absorbed quickly and penetrate deeper into the skin. The latest favourite celebrities trends are Vitamin C and CBD serum. Kim Kardashian West one of the best – know celebrities in the world once said that she loves CBD. She has gone on record multiple times saying that she is obsessed with CBD beauty products. She has even gone so far as to host a CBD - themed baby shower, to help educate her friends and family about what it can do for you. Both vitamin C and CBD have major antioxidant benefits.

CBD serum is a powerful cocktail that is gentle enough for daily use and strong to protect your skin from the outside environment. A recent small study showed that CBD ingredients have incredible inflammatory, anti-ageing and shooting benefits. Rebel C will help visibly brighten and even skin tone. Reduce fine lines and wrinkles.

TIP#2: DOUBLE CLEANSE

The concept of double cleansing has become very popular. Double cleansing will bring your skin to the next level and keep your skin super clean from any dirt and impurities from the outside environment. It doesn’t need to be expensive. All you need is an oil-based or balm cleanser (with more solid consistency) to use as a first step, and then a different, water-based facial cleanser to get rid of any oily residue. But why double cleansing? All oil, dead skin cells, make-up, sunscreen and cosmetic products can clock your pores, and leave your skin looking dull and dry. Double cleansing helps you achieve your best–looking skin by eliminating all those things.

TIP#3: MULTI MASKING

Face masks can be added to your skincare routine at your convenience. Rather than buying into the name or brand, the key is to look at ingredients to decide what is suitable for you. But that doesn’t mean you need to use only one mask at a time. For example, if you have oily skin, use a detoxifying or cleansing mask on your T-ZONE and cheeks, then use a hydrating mask on your jawline, temples and forehead where skin tends to be drier. There is no harm in using masks regularly for your skin provided you choose what is right for you means a product that doesn’t cause any irritation or redness. But it doesn’t mean it will cost you. Homemade masks are as good as the ones you can buy on the market.

TIP#4: WEARING SPF PROTECTION DAILY!

The most impactful thing you can do to your skin is to wear SPF daily. Every dermatologist has mentioned the importance of wearing sunscreen plus this will always be the cornerstone of anti-ageing prevention. The sun remains the biggest cause of premature and accelerated skin ageing. Fine lines, wrinkling, uneven skin tone, pigmentation and textural changes occur because of damage from sunlight.
But I am wearing make-up, isn’t it enough protection from the sun? The answer is no. It would require ten times the normal amount of foundation to provide enough coverage, so it’s important to wear a separate moisturiser that offers SPF. Protection.

TIP#5: LIGHT THERAPY TOOLS

Light therapy making its way into the mainstream, and it’s very effective at skin rejuvenation, treating pigmentation, redness, lines and wrinkles. Several brands offering home devices can give you a visible result. LED and facials incorporating LED lights (usually red, blue and green) stimulate collagen production, improving skin texture and acting as an anti-inflammatory (for example in acne).
The home device will not be strong as the LED used in a clinic setting, but they do have similar benefits. In clinics, the treatment last usually between 10-20min at-home treatments are typically slightly longer. Once or two times a week using an LED device will have a huge impact on your skin and it will take your skin to the next level.
